Objectives |
 Enable the helpless and working children into schools, giving them access to a quality education. Through education and access to the political arena they will be able to present their plight to the government policy makers directly, exercising a true democracy. Teaching the children how to stand up for their rights, and just conditions.
SDC believes that:
- Every child's basic rights of food and education and shelter should be ensured.
- No child should be allowed to work in risky and dangerous conditions.
- Every child should be given the opportunity to become what he or she desires
- Every government should rectify and strongly implement the UN resolutions and convention related to children.

Smile Nepal project is concentrating its efforts on the children in the Brick kilns. The project plans to provide the children with a formal school education as per the curriculum of the Government of Nepal.
